From Monday 7th to Wednesday 9th, AATSF members including: The Deputy Team Leader Mrs. Anila Denaj, International agriculture value chain expert, Dr. Martin Mautner Markhof, Local Credit Advisor Mr. Mirgen Hoxha and Agriculture Professor Drini Imami participated in the 2nd International Conference on Agriculture and Life Science (ICOALS 2018) which took place in the Agricultural University of Tirana.
The forum was structured around several highlights with scientific sessions and different presentations of social events. ICOALS is one of the international conferences in Western Balkans for presenting fundamental advances in the fields of Agriculture and Life Sciences with the goal of bringing together the community among researchers and practitioners working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in improving Agriculture and Life Sciences related issues. The topics that were specifically mentioned in the conference were food safety and the standardization of agricultural products to qualify and obtain certification for EU.
The conference was supported by: Siirt University in Turkey, The Deutsche Geselleschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Albania, Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), Embassy of the Netherlands, Embassy of France and The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
