Albanian Agribusiness & Tourism Support Facility, is happy to presents the study on the study “Covid-19 effects on early-stage Watermelon cultivation”

The study presents key information and case studies on the challenges and potentials of watermelon and melon production during the pandemic and provided an overview of investment opportunities for Albanian farmers and agribusinesses.

It focusses on the pandemic’s impact on different agricultural value chain segments and highlights implications for Financial Institutions.

Further it introduces support mechanisms and risk mitigation strategies to cope with the situation.

The study on the “Covid-19 effects on early-stage Watermelon cultivation” was prepared by the Albanian Agribusiness & Tourism Support Facility (AATSF), a project funded and developed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in cooperation and with support from the Government of Albania.
